Conditions Relating to the Sale of Experiences to You This section deals with conditions relating to the sale of experiences by Trulyme.co.uk to you. 5.1 Experience Description The details of each experience outlined on the website are as accurate as possible. Your participation is conditional on your acceptance of the experience description detailed in your booking confirmation. Please check these details carefully upon receipt. 5.2 Experience Images The images used to illustrate tangible gifts or experiences, particularly those that take place at more than one location, are used as an indication only. 5.3 Experience Lengths Experience lengths are approximate and are given simply as an indication of the time you will spend at the venue. We give itineraries as a guide only and the running order of an event may change. 5.4 Availability All our experiences are exclusive and therefore limited in number. Where there is no immediate availability for a valid experience you can ask to be added to a priority waiting list so that we can notify you once new dates are released. Bookings are not confirmed until you receive confirmation in writing from us. You should not make any arrangements in connection with the experience until you have received your booking confirmation. Where specific elements of the experience such as vehicles or celebrities are not available due to mechanical breakdown or illness, we reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions on the day. If this is not possible we reserve the right to cancel the experience at short notice. 5.5 Price, Payment and Delivery Your experience will be organised by a personal experience arranger. You will need to make payment via the website and then wait to receive your booking confirmation by email. This will also include details of your experience and itinerary. 5.6 Refunds, Cancellations and Restrictions Refunds: Unfortunately, because of the exclusive nature of our experiences and the time restrictions on our expert’s diaries we are unable to make full refunds on booked experiences. Cancellations: If you cancel your experience the following refund policy applies: If you cancel up to 12 weeks in advance of the experience date you will receive a 90% refund. If you cancel between 12 weeks and 28 days in advance of the experience date you will receive a 50% refund If you cancel less than 28 days in advance of the experience date we will not be able to refund you at all. Refunds are always made to the person who purchased the experience, and if originally purchased by credit or debit card, the refund will be credited to the same card. Sometimes we have to cancel an experience for reasons beyond our control, such as the weather or illness of the expert providing the experience. We will do our best to notify you as soon as possible and do everything we can to offer an alternative date or time. We regret that, in these circumstances, TrulyMe is unable to reimburse travel, accommodation or any other expenses you may incur in relation to the cancelled experience. Restrictions: Certain experiences are subject to minimum or maximum requirements specified by our suppliers; e.g. age, health, height or weight. We will confirm with you at the time of booking if any restrictions apply to the participant. Once booked, you may be liable for charges if you cancel because the minimum requirements are not met. Full details are included in all correspondence and we recommend you read this carefully as soon as you receive it.. 5.7 Inclusivity We welcome the participation of disabled people in our experiences, though we recognise that certain experiences may present difficulties for those with disabilities. We are committed to ensuring that disabled customers are given every opportunity to participate, so we ask that you tell us about any relevant disability at the time of ordering. This enables us to do our best to meet the participant’s particular needs. We will be happy to provide information about the disabled facilities available at specific venues on request. 5.8 Complaints We welcome your feedback on all of our experiences. If you have a problem or complaint on the day, please bring it to the attention of the host or experience manager at the venue as soon as possible, so that they have a chance to put matters right. If your problem is not resolved on the day, please contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it , including your booking reference, participant and venue details, and we will be happy to take the matter up with the supplier. In general, we consider it unreasonable if you take no action during an event, but then make a complaint at a later date. 5.9 Insurance/safety Many of our activities involve some personal risk. In purchasing one of our activity gift vouchers you accept the existence of an element of risk. Life insurance policies vary in their coverage, and some may exclude certain of the activities Truly Me offers. It is advisable to check this with your insurance company in advance. The operators for the various activities advertised normally arrange their own liability insurance which will provide insurance for participants in the case of negligence on behalf of that operator. Truly Me is not an operator of any other vehicle or equipment used in the provision of the activities sold. We are unable to give any guarantee as to the safety standards or performance of any operator. The operator may require a disclaimer to be signed before the activity. Liability for any delay or cancellation of the activity or loss, injury, death or any other claim howsoever arising from or howsoever caused by the activities advertised on our website or ordered through us shall be the sole responsibility of the operator who provides the activities and shall be governed by that operator’s terms and conditions. Whilst we take every care in choosing our experience suppliers, inclusion of an experience in our range does not mean that we guarantee the safety standards or satisfactory performance of any of the experience suppliers. Trulyme liability for any claim of breach of obligation regarding any experience shall not exceed the price of that experience. 5.10 Other Terms and Conditions In order to maintain the highest standard of customer service and to help with the ongoing training of staff we listen to and occasionally record telephone calls. 6.
